Aja graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (dual major) in Political Science and Journalism (2010) from the University of Papua New Guinea, where he was awarded the prestigious UPNG Prize for Outstanding Academic Performance for the 2010 academic year. He withdrew from undertaking Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science (2013) due to personal reasons. Aja has been in the media industry for six years, during which he has been specially assigned to cover real estate, oil and gas, politics, and banking and finance news for the Port Moresby-based Pacific Business Review newspaper. He was the former acting managing editor and also held the roles of business editor, sub-editor and business reporter for the English language weekly business newspaper. Aja founded ANX Real Estate Brokers in 2015 when Papua New Guinea had experienced a massive property investment as a result of several oil and gas projects. He also serves as a Chairman and CEO of PetroAJ Capital Limited, a boutique oil, gas and energy investment and financial advisory firm based in Port Moresby. Aja is also the co-founder, lead volunteer and deputy chairperson of Tagali Integral Students & Human Development Association Inc (TISHDA), a charity organization that engages local student volunteers to promote education as a fundamental platform for progress and prosperity of tribal war-torn Tagali LLG in Tari, Hela Province. He has also been a volunteer public relations officer with National Narcotics Bureau of Papua New Guinea during the periods 2013 –2014 and 2018 – 2019. He is a life member of Evangelical Church of Papua New Guinea (ECPNG).

Alois graduated with a Diploma in Business Management from Rabaul Business College (formerly Banker’s College) and also studied environment law and policy at the University of Papua New Guinea. Alois is an experienced banker who has worked with the National Development Bank for 15 years during which he served as a branch manager in Namatanai, New Ireland and Buka, Bougainville. He voluntarily exited and left National Development Bank to help his Baining people to grow and export cardamom. Since 2010, he has been a private real estate sales consultant in Kokopo and the surrounding New Guinea Islands. He had also formed an NGO that was involved in environmental conservation, planning and advocacy, through which he vigorously fought against the proposed seabed mining project, Solwara 1, and logging in East New Britain. Alois is presently a private business consultant and a member East New Britain provincial management advisory committee. He was a former member of East New Britain tourism board and has been in the real estate industry for over 10 years. Alois contested the National Elections twice for Gazelle Open and is a well-known leader of the Baining tribe on the Gazelle peninsula, East New Britain.
